Janice Brown Obituary

Janice Elizabeth (Kisslinger) Brown, born in Bethlehem on September 26, 1953, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Kisslinger, and her brother, Lawrence Kisslinger.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons: Michael (wife Joan), Jonathan (wife Jennifer), and Derek (wife Debbie); her grandchildren Michael, Athena, Alexa, and Liam; and two great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother, John L. "Jack" Kisslinger; her sister, Kathleen LaBelle (husband Edward); her brother, Paul Kisslinger (wife Lisa); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her beloved fur-grandbabies.

Janice worked in the telecommunications industry for nearly 30 years, a career that took her from Pennsylvania to Florida and eventually to Texas. She later returned to Pennsylvania, where she retired from Miller-Keystone Blood Center.

Janice had a positive spirit and made friends wherever she went. She especially enjoyed playing with Liam, volunteering at the local senior center, reading, and sharing her wisdom. After retiring, she spent years pet sitting, something she also truly enjoyed.

She will be remembered for her strength, her independence, and the many moments shared with those whose lives she touched.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. We worked together in Allentown & Florida, & Janice allowed me to stay with her & her boys when I first transferred to Florida.

I'm saddened to learn of Janice's passing. We met in junior high school, graduated together. She was a good friend and we always had lots of laughs. God bless her family and send them comfort

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Janice's passing. She was my boss when I volunteered at Miller Keystone and we became good friends. She babysat my fur baby, Bailey a few times and I trusted her completely to take good care of him, which she absolutely did. Although I didn't see her much we kept in contact through emails. Condolences to her family. She will be greatly missed.

Please accept my deepest condolences on Janice's passing. I have wonderful memories of our friendship from grade school through high school and outside of school where we spent a great deal of time together on the south side of Bethlehem. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends who have been blessed with being a part of her life.
