Soledad Ofelia Beltran, known affectionately as Chole, passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 93 in her hometown of El Paso, Texas. Born on November 12, 1930, in El Paso, Chole was a beacon of love and care throughout her life.

Chole married David T. Beltran on February 18, 1948, and together they shared 57 years of marriage filled with mutual devotion and joy until his passing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her role as the family's caregiver was a testament to her loving nature, always ready to support and protect her loved ones. She brought happiness to many through her love of singing and dancing.

She is survived by her sister Josephina "Pepa" Chavez and her children, Sylvia Adauto and her husband Alex Sr., Daniel Beltran and his wife Susan, Armando Beltran and his wife Anita, and Barbara Turner and Chris. Chole also had 14 grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and 7 Great-great grandchildren. Chole was preceded in death by her parents, Aurora and Manuel Sein, her beloved husband, David T. Beltran, her son David Beltran Jr., her brother Armando Sein, her sister Gloria Hartman, and her brother Larry Sein.

Chole completed her early education at Franklin Elementary School and later achieved her GED. Her career as an office assistant in a doctor's office in the Bassett Tower Building was marked by her dedication and kindness.

Her faith was an important part of her life, actively participating in the community of the Sacred Heart Church. Chole also found joy in her hobbies, which included knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and gardening, each a reflection of her creativity and love for beauty.

Funeral services will be held on August 26, 2024, from 9am to 11am at Martin Funeral Home East, located at 1460 George Dieter Dr., El Paso, Texas. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 1pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, located at 10970 Bywood Drive in El Paso. A visual and Rosary will also be part of the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any Alzheimer's organization of your choice. The arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home East, El Paso, Texas. Chole's life and legacy will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

Chole will always be remembered as the most loving and joyful ,closest person to a true sister, I have ever known . She was a grand lady with a beautiful spirit.
