Terry Nenne Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Girard Nenne, age 76, of Washington, passed Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on October 9, 1948, in Streator, Illinois, the son of Frederick and Irma (Dahlbach) Nenne. Terry married Christine Alleman on May 25, 1974, and they spent the next 51 happy years together. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle and loyal friend who will be deeply missed.
Upon graduation from Toluca High School in 1966, he began working at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in East Peoria. He retired as an engineering planner after 42 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Nenne; his children, Andrew (Danielle) Nenne of Toluca, Angela Nuttall of Washington, and Aaron (Allison) Nenne of Washington; his 9 grandchildren, Sabrina, Sydney, Ben, Haley, Lillian, Ava, Aubrey, Addison, and Carter; his 2 brothers and 5 sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Irma Nenne; his sisters, Donna Nicol, Joyce Bakel; and one brother, Richard Nenne.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6pm Friday, October 10th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. His funeral service will be at 11am Saturday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Toluca, Franciscan Friars officiating. Burial will be at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Toluca.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Schramm Education Center in Pekin, his granddaughter Ava's school.
