I met Nick when I was a teacher /youth leader at the North School Ashford.I also worked with Linda at the lower school.Nick and Linda were great company they came round for dinner on a few occasions and when they moved to Godinton we bumped into each other a few times. Nicks anecdotes about the school were seriously funny .Hey Linda if you read this I still remember your observation on the candidates for the Heads job. How right you were you should have been on the interview panel. Keith Needham now back in West Sussex.

We were very fortunate to meet Nick and Linda on holiday and quickly became good friends. With his wide knowledge and lovely kind nature l found him to be the chap whose company l most enjoyed. We are truly devastated to have lost him.

It was a joy and a privilege to have known Nick when I taught Music and Drama at the North School, Ashford. He was warm, intelligent, compassionate and full of humour, as well as being an outstanding teacher. He inspired so many pupils through his love of nature and animals, and the wonderful school farm he founded. Our hearts go out to darling Linda, another exceptional teacher, in her sudden and devastating loss. Nick was such a special human being and will be hugely missed by everyone lucky enough to have known and worked with him.
Love and deepest sympathy to Linda and all the family.
Tessa, Alan, Sally and Dan Fineman.

Nick was an amazing teacher and colleague. He inspired so many students through his work with the Young Farmers to have a life long love and respect for animals. RIP Nick
