I have just discovered Marion has passed away. Have been trying to find out why no reply to letters and emails for more than a year. Marion was my second cousin, her grandparents were my aunt and uncle, Aunt Sis was my father's sister. Spent many holidays with her and Uncle Tom at Leigh. Hadn´t seen Marion since we were teenagers, although kept in touch with letters and e-mails. Wish someone could have been in touch with relations. At least I now know why no replies. RIP Marion.

We were sorry to hear the sad news of Marion´s passing. Marion was my father´s cousin from his Mother´s side of the family. We remember Marion fondly as we spent many treasured memories with our cousins camping on the farm, swimming, playing games, watching out for cow `patties´ and laughing heart heatedly as carefree young chikdren. Uncle Arthur & Aunty Ada (Marion´s parents) were always welcoming and were patient showing us how they milked the cows and educated us about farm life. Marion always had lovely, rosy cheeks and a cheeky smile especially when she would tease my father. I was wondering why I never got a reply to my last couple of emails, as Marion was always quick to reply enlightening me on who was who in the family photos I would send her. It´s a pity as no one knew about her passing and her funeral. RIP Marion ..

My Father's mother was a Ray . We have many happy memories of visiting Marion and Uncle Arthur and Aunt Ada at Curtis Farm. We are sadly disappointed that we were not informed of her passing and funeral arrangements. Remembering her as a strong lady who had an active role on the farm for many years and who will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace.
