Karen Uhlenbock Obituary
Karen Lee Uhlenbock, age 84, of Lincoln, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Lincoln Community Care Center.
She was born on April 5, 1941 in Clinton, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Robison) Borum. Karen spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in rural Clinton. She was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School and attended Draughon's Business College in Springfield, Missouri where she took secretarial classes.
On October 12, 1968, she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Uhlenbock and they made their home on the family farm in Roseland, Missouri. Karen worked at several offices in the Clinton area, including Poague and Brock Law Office, Stewart-Nattinger Company, and Keith Kreisler Accounting Firm. Karen was a faithful member of the Ladue Christian Church where she played the piano for many years. She also attended Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Roseland.
Karen is survived by two nephews, Steven Wright and his wife Delania of Lincoln, Stanley Wright and his wife Judy of Lincoln, one niece, Sheree Eckhoff of Lincoln, cousins Ken Borum and Ellen Rogers, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mildred Borum, her husband Bill, her sister-in-law Frances Wright, her brother-in-law Wilbur Wright, and her mother and father-in-law William and Pearl Uhlenbock.
Funeral services will be held at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Roseland on Friday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Mount Olivet Baptist Church c/ o Davis-Miller Funeral Home, P.O. Box 400, Lincoln, Missouri 65338.
