Ian HICKS Obituary

So sorry to hear this news. I never knew... We always chatted more at Christmas time as our birthdays are in December. It was when I hadn´t heard from Ian and no messages being opened that I sent, that I had to resort to the internet where I found this very sad news.
Today would have been his 80th Birthday.. RIP

Ian was our dear neighbour who was so thoughtful and caring to both me and my family. He would buy strawberries from the market for my children each Saturday and bring us a paper each week. He would frequently check in on us, wave to us when we came home from work and we would regularly chat on each other´s doorsteps. We miss Ian so very much. Sorry we can´t be at the funeral, it´s just too far away to travel. Will be raising a glass to him this evening. Love and miss you Ian. Hannah and family x

Ian was our lovely neighbour who we miss dearly. It was an honour to know him. He would buy strawberries for my children every Saturday from the market, bring us a paper every week and he would send frequent texts checking in on us and we would have regular chats. He was a wonderful man and we all miss him. We are so sorry we can´t be at his funeral but it´s just too far to travel. We will be raising a glass to him this evening. Love and miss you Ian.
