GOODBAN Geoffrey It is with great sadness the family of Mr Geoffrey Goodban announces his passing after a brief illness on March the 31st 2026 at the age of 91 1/2. Geoffery passed away at his home in Chartham Hatch and will be lovingly remembered by his children Mark & Sarah and his five grandchildren Amber, Freddie, Charlie, Max and Nicole. The funeral service will be held at Herne Bay Crematorium, Bullockstone Road, at 12.30 on Monday 27th April 2026. All are welcome to attend. Please make any charitable donations to the Pilgrims Hospice. Family flowers only and black dress to be worn.

I remember Geoff and his ponies behind my house in Howfield Lane in about 1990. It was the first time I had met him and he was so nice to talk to. I asked him later to become an honorary member of Canterbury Round Table, which he did. Lovely fella! He is going to be missed.
